Resolutie van Franse Nationale Vergadering bekritiseert besluit Europese Commissie over twee hormoonontregelende stoffen

02 juli 2014

On May 28, the French Assembly adopted resolution No. 344 that criticizes the European Commission on recent separate decisions on BPA levels in toys and parabens levels in personal care products.
The resolution reinforces France’s position as one of the Member States leading efforts for tougher, new regulations on endocrine disruptors.
The Assembly is displeased about the Commission’s decision on the allowable migration level for BPA in toys and the refusal of restrictions on propyl- and butylparaben. It calls on the Commission to place strong restrictions on endocrine disrupting chemicals in children’s products in particular (Recycling Laws International, 2 juni 2014).
