A study by the ADP Research Institute shows that workers across the globe consistently have a far more negative perception of how well companies are managing them than their HR leaders and C-suite senior executives believe. The employees rated separate components of senior management in a less positive light as well.
According to the researchers, the significant gap in perception between employees and HR begs the question of how companies can effectively fine-tune workplace strategies to improve motivation and engagement of the employees. In U.S. companies, two out of five employees surveyed indicate an intention to leave their company within the next twelve months.
