Consumers are more connected than ever and will be even more so in the future. These digital connections are underpinning generational shifts in how consumers live, work, shop and play. Using Euromonitor’s Digital Consumer Index, analysts have identified 5 key insights to provide an outlook into what the digital future holds:
1. The degree and type of digital connectivity varies greatly between developed and emerging markets; 2. South Korea leads the current digital connectivity rankings; 3. The UK is a digital frontrunner; 4. China and the UAE are outpacing their emerging market counterparts and 5.
