In an article researchers at the Dalian Polytechnic University in China give an overview of shrink packaging. Shrink packaging is more and more popular with businesses and consumers and rapidly expanding its share of the market. New shrink packaging technologies are constantly developing and being used in a variety of product packaging.
The article describes the method of shrink packaging and looks at new developments, including cold shrinkable film packaging technology, vacuum shrink packaging technology, shrink packaging with cushioning and colored shrinkable film packaging. The article was published in the proceedings of the International Conference on Material Science and Application.
