De NVC-werkgroep Pharmaceutical Packaging Innovation houdt op donderdag 25 juni 2026 haar 16^e jaarbijeenkomst. De bijeenkomst is Live Hybride. U kunt dus fysiek meedoen op locatie of – eveneens interactief – online vanaf uw eigen werkplek waar dan ook.

● Introduction and recap of the previous (15^th) annual meeting

● KEYNOTE: Advancing personalised medicine by 3D pharma printing
Ensuring the right dose and release profiles of medicines for individual patients, from infants to adults, is a time consuming challenge. This presentation presents a unique joint collaborative initiative by Erasmus MC Rotterdam and TNO For Life, aiming to solve this challenge through technology. They have developed a specialised 3D pharma printer for research and patient testing in clinical settings, which is now put in practice at the Maasstad Hospital in Rotterdam.

NVC RESEARCH: Critical factors in pharmaceutical packaging and engineering for bringing personalised medicine into reality
Researcher Hoa Dieu Vo presents the final results of her NVC assignment addressing the factors in pharmaceutical packaging and engineering that are critical for bringing personalised medicine into reality. Hoa is a graduate student at the Chemical Engineering Bachelor’s programme at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Her work included a thorough investigation of the current  and future pharmaceutical packaging and engineering capabilities needed. The study was augmented with help of NVC’s AI chatbot DAYO, who was trained on the subject through a NVC curated database that contains a wealth of scientific and business publications addressing the subject.

● NVC BUSINESS ANALYSIS: The Top-10 global pharmaceutical packaging innovations of 2026
NVC Packaging Centre has conducted an in-house study examining the main trends in pharmaceutical packaging and engineering, which will be shared and analysed with the participants. The data analysed includes the finalists of the CPHI China Pharma Awards 2026, where NVC is a member of the jury. In addition, the winners of the Pharmapack Europe 2026 awards and the innovations showcased by suppliers during interpack 2026 are taken into consideration.

● UNPACKING TOGETHER: Packaging for personalised medicine in the year 2036
Together we probe into the future of packaging for tomorrow’s personlised medicine in an interactive and AI-assisted workshop. An indicative NVC Demo Business Case will be distributed and explained in real-time. The participants will be split in different groups. We conclude by presenting and sharing the results, taking back home all insights gained
