Finalist De Gouden Noot 33rd edition ELVIS, the reusable palletwrap

ELVIS, the reusable palletwrap by Return2sender
Every year, approximately 600,000 tonnes of stretch film are used in the European Union to stabilise pallet loads. While this single-use packaging performs an essential logistics function, it also generates large amounts of plastic waste, recurring material costs and unnecessary handling time.
ELVIS is a patented reusable pallet stabilisation system that replaces stretch film in internal logistics and closed-loop supply chains. Instead of wrapping each pallet with disposable plastic, ELVIS secures loads using a durable textile-based system that can be applied in about one minute and reused for more than 100 transport cycles.
What makes ELVIS unique is that it combines high load stability, operational efficiency and circularity in one practical solution. Through its non-stretch containment principle, optimised hook design and integrated QR/RFID tracking, ELVIS provides a safe, reusable and traceable alternative for a significant share of pallet flows. Rather than simply replacing a material, ELVIS transforms pallet stabilisation from a disposable packaging practice into a circular logistics system.
